She was the leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She took home a team gold medal during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have back-to-back gold medals in this event. Raisman was also awarded silver medals for individual all-around and floor exercise. Raisman was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around, and also for the floor exercise. She is also two-time champion at national level on floor exercise (2012 and 2015) she was the 2012 champion of the national team on the balance beam, and a five-time medalist in the all-around event at the national championships (silver in 2016, bronze in 2011, 2012, and also in 2015). She was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
