
Alexandra Rose Raisman, born May 25 1994 born on May 25, 1994, is an American retired artistic gymnast. She was also twice Olympian. She was the leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She took home a team gold medal during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have back-to-back gold medals in this event. Raisman was also awarded silver medals for individual all-around and floor exercise. Raisman was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around, and also for the floor exercise. She is also two-time champion at national level on floor exercise (2012 and 2015) she was the 2012 champion of the national team on the balance beam, and a five-time medalist in the all-around event at the national championships (silver in 2016, bronze in 2011, 2012, and also in 2015). She was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame (2013).
