Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was born to Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She has Italian descent (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda was the youngest of four in San Francisco Bay, California. In her tenth year she started to become attracted to acting after performing in a play at school. Then she began to appear in community and school theater. Linda was a graduate of Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. When she graduated, she had to make a decision about whether she wanted to go to New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. Linda decided to move to LA. Linda was first cast as a character on Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks was the character that led to her breakthrough. This show earned her the Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for the field of Comedy Series. She played Lindsay Weir, a decathlete student at the University of California.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by the stage name Lily James, is an English actor from England. Her acting career began in the year 2010 with the British television show Just William, in which she was a student at the London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After her successful performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012-2015 her debut role was in the movie fantasy Cinderella in the year 2015. James then played the role of the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the version on television of War & Peace, in 2016. She also appeared in a number of films. This includes the action film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday 2019, Pam & Tommy, a biographical television series based on the story of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) was nominated as a Golden Globe Award winner and the Primetime Emmy Award.
