Robyn Rihanna better known in Barbados as Rihanna in Barbados, is an Barbadian artist and performer who has penned popular songs such as Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Rihanna is an extremely well-known artist, who has sold over 41 million albums worldwide and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae, and she began singing when she was quite young. Disturbed by her chaotic family life and conflicting with her parents, she became immersed in music and before long decided that she would like to become a professional musician. They formed a group when she was still in high school and then had an opportunity to an audition with music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly amazed by her talent. She relocated in New York so that she could continue her full-time performing career. The album she released her debut album soon made available and Rihanna became a musical sensation soon. Rihanna's songs that were a little giddy were most popular among young people which influenced her to pursue film. Pretty young and highly talented Rihanna is now regarded as the teen idol of today and also a fashion icon. Rihanna uses her fame to positive use as she is actively engaged in a variety of charitable causes
